I haven't listened to Dashboard Confessional in a long time, but sometimes when I hear Chris Carraba's voice it catches me by surprise and knocks the hopelessly romantic wind out of me. What a pathetically plaintive and beautiful sound. (I remember one time I complained he had no breath control...I see now that that is NOT the point.)
