I have opera auditions on Sunday, so I got this great idea that I should probably wear a lot of eye make-up to make my eyes stand out and therefore make me look better on stage, and maybe make me more memorable. I have to be the most inept 24-year-old woman alive at putting on eye make-up. I thought it would be a good idea to "practice" my make-up beforehand, so since i had nothing better to do, I've been doing that for the last several minutes. It's a good thing I did, cause I may have to back out of this plan.
Seriously, how do people put eyeliner on? I look like a raccoon! I thought it was supposed to make your eyes look bigger...umm, not so much. I suck at eyeliner. I don't understand how you can put it on without your eyelashes getting in the way and messing everything up! Grrrr.

I got a practice room key today! I was super excited to go and practice this evening, until every room I opened with my fancy key had either a roach or a nasty cricket in it. EEWWWWWWW. People were warning me that there were roaches down here, but I hadn't seen any anywhere so I didn't really give it a second thought. Well, I found out now that they're all hanging out in the Music Practice South building. Maybe it's one big roach hotel. Once I finally found a room with no roaches in it (that I could see...I'm sure there were some hiding under the piano) this official looking chick came and told me that the building was closed so I had to leave anyway. What a waste. At least I got to use my key to open a lot of doors.

Cockroaches are so nasty. Hopefully they'll clean the building out before school starts or something.

I got some good housemate quality time in today. I had to go out to Target to get a couple things, so Justin tagged along and bought me dinner (well, technically it was lunch, but I wasn't really hungry so I saved it for later). Then later this evening I hung out in Erin's room for an hour or so looking up potential guys on dating websites (hahahahaha) and talking about random stuff. So that was cool. They're all right. I think we'll all get along just fine.

Okay, now I've gotta go and wash all this crap off of my face.

I'd love to turn you on...
