Today I had a heart to heart with Dr. Bush. That was awkward.
In other news, it's been a good week. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday were spent mostly on campus, getting stuff done, practicing, having rehearsals, feeling collegiate. It was kind of cloudy and windy, which made me happy.
I got done with class at 11 today and have spent the afternoon doing nothing productive. This was probably a mistake, as I work all weekend, but after three days of feeling collegiate and getting things done, I really just felt like being a lazy-ass. Mission accomplished.
And now I have to head to Red Lobster for my first "official" day of work. Yes, I've been hired there for almost a month. I finished training over a week ago. Hopefully i remember all of that stuff I'm supposed to have learned. I'm trying to look forward to it...something new and different...a new opportunity to interact with people...a not-too-horrible way to make money...but still, there's that whole WORK thing. I haven't worked for two months and frankly, I'm not sure I'm ready to go back and deal with the public again.
The Denton, Red Lobster-going public.
Oh well, it will be fine. I will just have to kiss weekends good-bye.
Now I am going to go and eat some applesauce and make the journey on 288. Joy of joys!!
